Specialising in textbook policy, textbook procurement, textbook distribution and management of textbooks within schools.

Responsibilities included Sub-Saharan Africa where the main focus was education opportunities at tertiary, vocational, secondary and primary level where textbooks, library books and supplementary readers were required.

Responsibilities included managing contracts for the supply of textbooks and library books on projects funded by the WB, Danida, DfID etc. in Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Tanzania.

Created and built a department to handle donor funded textbook business for education projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Library supply/export bookselling company 50% of turnover being within the UK (mainly supplying books to educational establishments) and 50% export sales of textbooks and library books; the latter to donor funded education projects.

Divisional Director responsible for a division specialising in the supply of textbooks and academic monographs to educational establishments.

Overall management responsibility for 13 bookshops.
